Co-codamol 8mg/500mg Tablets – 32 Tablets contains codeine and paracetamol, a painkiller. It is used for short term relief of moderate pain that has not been relieved by paracetamol or ibuprofen alone.
How it works
Paracetamol and codeine work together to relieve pain.
How to use it
Adults take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours, up to 8 tablets in 24 hours, for no more than 3 days. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
Before you use it
Not for under 12s or breastfeeding mothers. Do not take with other paracetamol products. Codeine can be addictive.
Possible side effects
Constipation, drowsiness and feeling sick are common.
