Anbesol Liquid – 6.4ml contains lidocaine, cetylpyridinium chloride and chlorocresol, an anaesthetic and antiseptic liquid. It is used for temporary relief of pain from mouth ulcers, toothache and denture irritation.
How it works
Lidocaine numbs the area while the antiseptics help keep it clean.
How to use it
Apply a small amount to the sore area with a clean fingertip or cotton bud, as often as the pack allows. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
Before you use it
Do not eat or drink until the numbness wears off. Check the pack for the minimum age.
Possible side effects
Temporary stinging can happen.
