Calpol Infant Suspension – 100ml contains paracetamol, a children’s painkiller. It is used to relieve pain and reduce fever in babies and children, including from teething, colds and vaccinations.
How it works
It reduces pain signals and helps lower temperature.
How to use it
Give the dose for your child’s age using the syringe or spoon provided. Leave at least 4 hours between doses and do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
Before you use it
Do not give with other paracetamol products. Check the minimum age and weight on the pack.
Possible side effects
Side effects are rare at the correct dose.
