Corsodyl 0.2% Mouthwash – 300ml contains chlorhexidine gluconate 0.2%, an antiseptic mouthwash. It is used to help treat and prevent gum problems and mouth infections, and to support healing after dental treatment.
How it works
It kills bacteria in the mouth that cause plaque and gum inflammation.
How to use it
Rinse with 10ml for about 1 minute twice a day. Leave at least 30 minutes after brushing, as toothpaste can reduce how well it works. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
Before you use it
Not for long term daily use unless a dentist advises it.
Possible side effects
It can stain teeth and the tongue, and may temporarily change taste.
