Lactulose Oral Solution – 500ml contains lactulose, an osmotic laxative. It is used to treat constipation.

It draws water into the bowel to soften stools and make them easier to pass.

Take the dose on the pack once or twice a day. It can take up to 48 hours to work. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Tell a pharmacist if you have galactose intolerance, a bowel blockage or diabetes.

Wind, bloating and stomach cramps can happen, especially at first.
