Dulcolax 5mg Tablets – 20 Tablets contains bisacodyl, a stimulant laxative. It is used for short term relief of constipation.
How it works
It stimulates the muscles of the bowel to help move stools along.
How to use it
Adults usually take 1 to 2 tablets at night, swallowed whole. It usually works within 6 to 12 hours. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
Before you use it
Do not use for more than 5 days without advice. Not suitable for children under the age on the pack, or if you have severe tummy pain or a bowel blockage.
Possible side effects
Stomach cramps and diarrhoea can happen.
