Lansoprazole 15mg Capsules contains lansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It is used to treat acid reflux, heartburn and stomach ulcers.

How it works

It reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes by blocking the acid pumps in the stomach lining.

How to use it

Swallow the capsule whole with water, usually once a day at least 30 minutes before food. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Before you use it

Tell the prescriber if you have liver problems, take other medicines, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have weight loss, vomiting or difficulty swallowing.

Possible side effects

Common side effects include headache, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain, feeling sick and tiredness.
