Cystitis is inflammation of the bladder, usually caused by a urinary tract infection (UTI). It is very common in women and often causes a burning feeling when you pee.

Mild cystitis often gets better on its own, and pharmacy products can ease discomfort. Some women can get treatment after a pharmacy consultation, while others will need to see their GP.
