How it works
It kills the bacteria that cause the infection in the bladder.
How to use it
Take as prescribed with food or milk, usually for 3 days in women. Finish the course. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
Before you use it
Not suitable for people with significant kidney problems. Tell the prescriber if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Possible side effects
Feeling sick and headache are common. It can turn urine dark yellow or brown, which is harmless.
