Viscotears Liquid Gel – 10g contains carbomer, an eye lubricating gel. It is used to relieve dry eyes.
It forms a thicker, longer lasting layer over the eye than standard drops.
Apply 1 drop into the lower eyelid up to 4 times a day. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
Remove contact lenses before use. Check the leaflet about preservatives.
Temporary blurred vision is common, so it can be useful at night.
Gels last longer but can blur vision briefly.
Leave at least 5 minutes between different eye products.
