How it works
It relaxes and widens blood vessels, reducing the heart’s workload.
How to use it
Take as prescribed with water. Doses are often timed to leave a nitrate free period each day. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
Before you use it
Do not use with ED medicines such as sildenafil or tadalafil. Tell the prescriber about low blood pressure and other medicines.
Possible side effects
Headache, dizziness and flushing are common, especially when starting treatment.
