Imodium Instant Melts 2mg – 12 Tablets contains loperamide, an anti diarrhoeal medicine. It is used for short term relief of sudden diarrhoea in adults and children aged 12 and over.
How it works
It slows down the movement of the gut, allowing more water to be absorbed.
How to use it
Take 2 doses at first, then 1 after each loose stool, up to the daily maximum on the pack. Do not use for more than 48 hours without advice. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
Before you use it
Do not use if you have a high temperature, blood in your stools or severe tummy pain. Keep drinking fluids.
Possible side effects
Constipation, wind and feeling sick can happen.
