Duac Once Daily Gel – 30g contains clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide, a combination acne gel containing an antibiotic. It is used to treat mild to moderate acne, especially inflamed spots.
How it works
Clindamycin, an antibiotic, and benzoyl peroxide work together to kill acne causing bacteria and reduce inflammation.
How to use it
Apply a thin layer once a day in the evening to clean, dry skin. Treatment is usually reviewed after 12 weeks. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
Before you use it
Tell the prescriber if you have had bowel problems such as colitis, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Possible side effects
Dry, red or peeling skin and a burning feeling are common.
