Product & Safety Notice

If you have a womb, you also need a progestogen.

Evorel Patches contains estradiol, an HRT patch. It is used to relieve menopause symptoms.

How it works

It replaces the oestrogen your body no longer makes. Patches deliver it through the skin.

How to use it

Apply a new patch twice a week to clean, dry skin below the waist, as prescribed. If you have a womb, you also need a progestogen. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Before you use it

Not suitable if you have had certain cancers, blood clots or liver disease. The prescriber will check.

Possible side effects

Skin irritation, breast tenderness and bleeding can happen at first.

Frequently asked questions

Where should I put the patch?

Below the waist, rotating sites each time.

Do patches carry a clot risk?

Patches and gels carry a lower clot risk than tablets.

What if a patch falls off?

Reapply it or use a new one, then continue your usual change day. Check the leaflet.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes. This is a prescription only medicine, so a prescriber reviews your consultation and decides whether it is suitable before it is supplied.

How should I store it?

Keep it in its original pack at room temperature, away from damp and direct heat, and out of the sight and reach of children.

How do I order it from MHS Pharmacy?

Start a consultation from this page. A prescriber reviews your answers, and if it is suitable your order is dispensed and delivered in discreet packaging.
