Metronidazole 400mg Tablets – 14 Tablets contains metronidazole, an antibiotic. It is used to treat bacterial vaginosis and some other infections.

How it works

It kills the bacteria that cause the infection.

How to use it

Take as prescribed, usually with or after food, and finish the course. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Before you use it

Do not drink alcohol during treatment and for at least 2 days after. Tell the prescriber if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or take other medicines.

Possible side effects

A metallic taste, feeling sick and stomach upset are common.
